The rest of the day is yours to relax, explore Arusha’s bustling local markets, or enjoy the view of Mount Meru. This vibrant town is the starting point for Northern Tanzania safaris. In the evening, meet your guide for a safari briefing and enjoy dinner at your lodge, getting ready for the exciting days ahead.

After an early breakfast, begin your scenic journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, enjoy stunning views and optional cultural stops. Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive, where you may spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeest. The Serengeti’s endless plains and dramatic landscapes offer a true African safari experience. Spend the evening at a tented camp or lodge under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti. Begin with an early morning game drive to catch predators on the hunt and witness the golden savannah at sunrise. Your guide will take you through different regions of the park, increasing your chances of seeing the Big Five, as well as giraffes, hippos, hyenas, and countless bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your wildlife adventure. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and stories by the fire.

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular wildlife areas in Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a game drive through this unique ecosystem, home to rhinos, lions, buffalos, zebras, flamingos, and more. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend and continue to Karatu, a beautiful town on the crater’s outer slopes. Spend the night at a cozy lodge surrounded by highland scenery and coffee plantations.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before starting your return journey to Arusha. Along the way, there may be time to visit a local market or cultural center, depending on your flight schedule. Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy a farewell lunch before being transferred to your hotel or to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. With a camera full of memories and a heart full of awe, your Tanzanian wildlife adventure comes to a close.
