Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

    Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel, where you can relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the town or simply unwind and prepare for your upcoming safari. Arusha, set beneath Mount Meru, is the safari capital of Tanzania and offers a lively mix of culture, markets, and natural beauty. Overnight at a comfortable lodge or hotel, where your guide will brief you on the adventure ahead.

  • Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

    After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive through diverse landscapes, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Tarangire’s river attracts abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to Karatu, a peaceful town nestled in the green hills of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Overnight at a lodge in Karatu, surrounded by stunning views and fresh air.

  • Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

    Today, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. The crater floor is home to the Big Five and countless other species, including hippos, flamingos, and elusive black rhinos. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch by a scenic spot inside the crater. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and rest, reflecting on one of the most memorable safari days.

  • Day 4: Karatu – Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)

    After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha. Along the way, you can stop for cultural experiences, local markets, or scenic photo opportunities, depending on your schedule. Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy lunch before being transferred to your hotel or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight. Your 4-day safari ends with lasting memories of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
